Orphans on my heart

Sometimes when scrolling through the photolistings of orphans, there is one that just grabs your heart and won't let go. If I were in a position to adopt, I would think these are my children.  Because I am not, I must assume that God has lead me to pray for these children and advocate for them in some way.  Most of these children are already at institutions.  They all desperately need families.
If you are in a position to adopt, and one of these children lands on your heart, please contact Reece's Rainbow

The boy below is Emmitt. He is an amazing boy who has been in an institution for years, but still remains loving, kind, and sociable.  Emmitt is diagnosed with spina bifida and has deformed legs.  Because of this he is confined to a crib the majority of the time.  In spite of his surroundings, Emmitt is very intelligent and constantly reaches out for attention. He would be the most amazing son and what a joy it would be to show him the world outside of the walls of an institution! Emmitt is 14 now, and his time for a family is running out.  Please help me spread the word about this wonderful boy who needs a family. You can also donate to his adoption fund here:

The little boy below is Marcus.  He is 9 years old and desperately wanting his family to find him.  He lives in an institution as well, but it is reported to be a good one, where the children are given attention and stimulation. When the picture was taken, he covered his legs with a blanket because he was afraid his condition of spina bifida would prevent his family from recognizing him as their son.
Break my heart!  I know someone will recognize this beautiful boy as a member of their family, regardless of his wheelchair. You can donate to his fund here: http://reecesrainbow.org/15683/marcus3904

This little girl is in the same institution as Marcus.  She is almost seven years old and has cerebral palsy.  Don't you think this little girl would make a wonderful sibling to Marcus?  They are available to be adopted together. You can donate or find more information about her here: http://reecesrainbow.org/15711/patti3906

One more little boy at this same institution that I have to put on here. He is thirteen years old and desperately waiting for his family to come. He has a child's faith and believes with all of his heart that they will find him soon.  I know that God will reward this faith in him! He is such a good boy, adoptive families who have met him are raving about him! He is extremely intelligent--loves to read, loves art, and also to sing! He is very gentle with the younger children and would be a fabulous older brother. He also is extremely neat and organized and takes good care of his things.  Who wouldn't want a son like this? He does have spina bifida, but it apparently doesn't slow him down at all! You can see more about him here: http://reecesrainbow.org/15757/tyler3908

Little Eliza has a rare condition that causes her muscles and nerves to die as she ages.  Her lifespan may be limited, but who knows what God has in store for her in the meantime? She certainly deserves to know the love a family for her entire life. You can donate to her adoption fund, or find out more information here: http://reecesrainbow.org/32146/eliza-15h

These two little girls are still living in an orphanage and could be adopted *together*.  The first little girl is due to be transferred very soon.  Her name is Tatianna and she is *crying* for a family.  She is desperate for attention and would do so well with someone to love her and hold her.  Here is her link: http://reecesrainbow.org/876/tatiana2304

This little girl is called Delilah on her Reeces Rainbow page. It is hard for me to believe she hasn't been adopted yet. I have been praying for her since I saw her baby picture and now she is almost three years old.  Where is her momma? She has what is called larsen syndrome, which causes dwarfism and some joint/limb deformities.  She is at the same orphanage as Tatianna and the two girls could be sisters!

The little girl below stops my heart every time I see her. I want to scoop her up into my arms and just hold her. Can you believe she is 8 years old already?  She is diagnosed with FAS and vision problems. You can see more about her or donate here: http://reecesrainbow.org/30561/talya-5g

The children above are all available for adoption. The other group of children I am always praying for can be seen at the below link.  They are the ones that are bedridden and need sponsorship.  Some of them are available for adoption as well:
